Story
In 2026, I’ll be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon in support of the British Liver Trust — a charity that means everything to our family.
I’m running for my husband, Stuart. He has lived with a liver condition, Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), for most of his life and is now on the liver transplant waiting list. We live day to day not knowing when the call will come — balancing hope, fear, and the reality of waiting.
Despite everything, Stuart continues to face each day with incredible strength. Watching him push through the challenges of liver disease is what drives me to take on this run.
The British Liver Trust provides vital support, information, and advocacy for people living with liver disease and for families like ours — especially during the uncertainty of waiting for a transplant.
By donating, you’re helping to fund life-changing support and ensuring no one has to face liver disease alone. Any donation, big or small, truly makes a difference, and even sharing this page helps more than you know.
Thank you so much for supporting us 💙
