I’m running my first half marathon to raise funds for Wigan and Leigh Deaf Children’s Society, as my younger cousin wouldn’t have found all the confidence he has today without their support. The charity is a lifeline for local families, creating opportunities for deaf children and their loved ones to come together, share their experiences, and build friendships.
