Upon reaching our original target we are pleased to say that we will be donating an Abi Cooling Cot to RD&E hospital. We have now extended our target in the hope of raising enough money for a second cooling cot in Ottilie’s memory.

On 06/03/2025, we tragically said goodbye to our precious baby girl Ottilie. In the midst of this heart-wrenching experience, we have learned of the immeasurable comfort an Abi Cooling cot can bring to grieving parents during the devastating time after a stillbirth.

An Abi Cooling cot is a special piece of equipment that preserves the dignity and memory of a baby who has passed, giving parents more time with their little one before saying their final goodbyes. Sadly, these cots are not always readily available, and many hospitals are unable to provide them due to financial constraints.

In honor of Ottilie, we are raising funds to donate a cold cot to Abigail’s Footsteps, so that other families who face the unimaginable will have the chance to hold onto their baby for as long as they need, allowing them precious moments of peace and memory-making.
