10 Years, 10 Events, 1 Big Impact! Lorna and John Calder are organising 10 events during 2026 in aid of Bliss Charity, celebrating their firstborn daughter Chloe's legacy by supporting premature and sick babies and their families across the UK.

Story

Nearly ten years ago, my firstborn daughter Chloe arrived too soon. She was tiny, fierce, and full of fight. Chloe showed extraordinary courage for three months, but sadly never came home.

I, along with 5 other incredible women, am going to complete a solo HYROX in Cardiff. I will complete it, even if it nearly kills me and it won't be pretty. Chloe's whole life was a massive struggle - for her and for us - and we will channel her grit and determination throughout, to help other babies and their families have a better experience and hopefully outcome.

This is one event of our #Chloe10for10 series throughout 2026. We hope to raise 26k for Bliss this year, and anything you can donate for our Hyrox effort will contribute to this campaign.

Hyrox is a fitness race. It involves running and intensive strength workout stations. It is like NOTHING I have ever done before, which is what is motivating me to train. Fear is a powerful tool!

Bliss is the leading UK charity for babies born premature or sick. They rely on donations to fund their work but with one baby admitted to neonatal care every five minutes they don’t have the resources to reach every baby who needs help. My fundraising is helping Bliss ensure every baby gets the best care.
