Chloe's fundraiser for Saint Francis hospital, Katete, Zambia

I've created this page because of my participation in the Responsible Electives Campaign. Part of the ethos of Responsible Elective is that as well as working, I will donate money to the hospital to enable the provision of resources to people seeking medical attention. This means any money you donate will be going directly to the hospital, and I'll be funding my flights, accomodation etc myself.
As part of my final year at medical school, myself and Tara Rowan will be undertaking a 10 week clinical placement in Saint Francis Hospital in Zambia from January-April 2024. This is a voluntary placement where we aim to fully immerce ourselves within Zambian culture as well as the healthcare system by living and assisiting alongside the team in the 350 bed hospital. All money raised will be used to help Saint Francis hospital which serves a population of around 250,000 people. Previously the funds raised for Responsible Electives have benefitted many areas such as, providing nutritional meals for patients, supply of vital medical equipment and allowing for development of teaching and learning facilities.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. We completely awknowledge that we are within what is a really challenging time financially and politially so even sharing this page with friends and collegues would be really helpful so that more people know about Responsible Electives.
Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
Chloe :)
