From Gas to Grass: The Three Peaks Challenge.
What happens when you take team anaesthesia and friends out of their natural habitat and put them on a mountain? We’re about to find out!
On 9th May 2026, Asaker, Bianca, Chandrika, Naresh, and Lisa are taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge. We’ll be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon back-to-back. Our goal is to finish in 24 hours, though our hamstrings and knees might have other ideas.
We’re experts at keeping people comfortable, but we suspect there won’t be much comfort found at 3,000 feet in the middle of the night! We’re trading the controlled environment of the hospital for unpredictable weather, steep scree, and the inevitable "are we there yet?"
It’s all for a fantastic cause: The Oxford Children’s Hospital. We see the bravery of our young patients every day, and we wanted to do something (nearly) as brave to support them.
Any donation, large or small, would mean the world to us. Help us turn our "peak" exhaustion into something amazing for the kids!
Oxford Hospitals Charity is transforming care for patients and staff throughout the John Radcliffe, Churchill, Horton General, Oxford Children’s Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre. Your donations are crucial.
Your gift could help fund vital medical research and training, as well as essential equipment to provide life-changing care in your local hospitals. Donations help transform hospital spaces and provide the little things that make a big difference to patients and staff.
What better way to say thank you to your local hospitals.
