And no, 7 weeks isn't my target time - it's the amount of time between being offered a place and the big day itself 😅
Running London has always been one of my life goals, so I feel honoured to be able to take up a 'last minute' place this year on behalf of a charity I have regularly supported over the years - Crisis.
Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. Crisis helps people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.
Crisis also do their fantastic 'Crisis at Christmas Appeal' each year which helps bring warmth, companionship, and vital services to people facing homelessness at what can be one of the toughest times of the year.
🎯I will be running the TCS London Marathon for Team Crisis on Sunday 27th April with a target time of under 4 hours and a target fundraising amount of £2,000🎯
