Chris's fundraiser for Friendly Food Club

Chris Balfe is raising money for Friendly Food Club

Run 100K in October

The Friendly Food Club changes lives and creates healthier futures. When you sit down for a meal tonight, tens of thousands of people across Dorset can’t share in what you’re about to enjoy. Help us to bring people together to cook, learn, connect and flourish in their local community.

Story

This October, I am taking on a personal challenge to run 100K in support of The Friendly Food Club.

It is a goal that means a lot to me because, as a Trustee, I have seen the difference this charity makes for children and families across Dorset, helping them build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy positive moments around food.

The Friendly Food Club does such important work, and every donation helps them continue supporting more families across Dorset when it matters most. Whether that is helping pregnant mothers increase their knowledge, supporting parents during the weaning stages or delivering sensory food sessions to children. Every session really does make a huge difference to families.

With a fundraising target of £500, I am hoping to raise as much as possible to give children the best start in life.

Please support my run, share my page, and donate if you can. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help me reach the finish line and make a real difference to The Friendly Food Club.
