As part of YHEC's 40th anniversary celebrations, staff at YHEC will be walking the 40km Millennium Way walk around York on Friday 9th October to raise funds for Age UK York.

An early morning start at the rail station is required and then we'll set off round Hob Moor, the Knavesmire, Fulford Ings, Walmgate Stray, Monk Stray, Bootham Stray, Clifton Ings and more!

Age UK York has been supporting older people, their families and carers since 1971. We provide a wide range of services which make a massive difference in people's lives.

Your donation will help us support volunteers who provide valuable befriending support.

You'll enable us to take older people home from hospital and ensure they can recover fully at home.

You'll help us provide someone who can allow a carer to have a much needed break from caring for an older person.
