🌟 Maisie’s Marathon Challenge for SSNAP 🌟

Chris Blakely is raising money for SSNAP

Run, bike or horse ride a marathon

While your baby has specialist treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital, we provide vital support to families. We also fund equipment for the unit, invest in training for NHS staff, run Little SSNAPlings and support research projects. We stand by families every step of the way.

Story

Maisie is taking on an incredible challenge – completing a full marathon… but with a twist! 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♀️🐎

Instead of doing it all in one go, she’ll be covering the 26.2 miles in 10 segments, running, cycling, or horse riding her way to the finish line. It’s a huge personal challenge, and she’s doing it for a cause very close to our hearts.

💛 Why SSNAP?

Maisie is raising money for SSNAP – an amazing charity that supported our family during one of the most difficult times we’ve faced. This time last year, when her little sister Bella arrived prematurely, SSNAP were there for us with kindness, care, and practical support when we needed it most.

👶 What does SSNAP do?

SSNAP (Sick Newborn and their Parents Support) provides vital support to families with babies receiving neonatal care. They work alongside hospital teams to offer emotional support, financial assistance, and essential resources to help parents through the challenges of having a sick or premature baby. From providing accommodation and meals to funding equipment and offering reassurance during long days on the neonatal unit, their work makes an incredible difference to families during such a stressful and uncertain time.

💫 How you can help

If you’re able to support Maisie on her journey, any donation – big or small – would mean so much. Every pound raised will help SSNAP continue supporting families just like ours.

Thank you for cheering Maisie on and helping turn this challenge into something truly meaningful.
