Story

Hi all,

My name is Chris and I am running the 2024 Royal Parks Half to raise money for the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity. I am a New Zealander living in North London. I ran competitively in my teens and I am trying to get back into it again. I have a PB of 1:26 and I would like to beat that time (although, there will be no refunds if I fall short).

I am supporting the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity as I am dyslexic and know how difficult it can be, particularly for children and their parents. I was very fortunate to receive a lot of support from my parents and I now get by fine, with (a lot of) help from spell check. However, I know that isn't the case for everyone, which is why the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity is so important. Please give what you can to support the amazing work that they do.

Thanks,

Chris
