This JustGiving page is dedicated to the VeakoVelo Memorial Ride, created in memory of Lt Col Gaz Veacock and his beloved wife Heidi, who tragically passed away in early 2026. More than a ride, it is a celebration of two remarkable lives, their unwavering love, kindness and commitment to family, and the lasting impact they had on everyone who knew them. As part of the close-knit Devon cycling community that Gaz cherished, his Sunday morning cycle group are riding 143 Miles from CTCRM to St Just in Cornwall to honour the memories of Gaz and Heidi and continue the values they lived by. Through your generosity, we are raising funds for The Royal Marines Charity and The Royal Free Charity, two causes close to the Veacock family that reflect their spirit of service, care and support. Every mile ridden and every donation made helps ensure their legacy continues to inspire others.
