Earlier this year, my wife ran a half marathon in support of Child of Hope and it inspired me to do the same. I've never completed an endurance event before and have only really managed to run 5K in the past so this will be a challenge for me, although I have to admit I've enjoyed the training.

Child of Hope is a UK-based Christian charity dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children in Uganda. Its Uganda team focuses on providing free education, healthcare, and welfare support to children from impoverished families. By offering educational opportunities, the charity aims to break the cycle of poverty and empower children to achieve their full potential.

Additionally, Child of Hope supports parents through micro-business training and assistance, helping to lift entire families out of poverty.
