I've always wanted to prove to myself that I could get round a marathon course and hope I can raise some funds for a charity which I think does amazing work. Fundamentally, I believe that the inequality of education is simply wrong and a key reason why I picked WLZ to raise money for. West London is an area of deep inequality. 1 in 5 children and young people are missing out on the support and opportunities that they need to get the best start in life.

West London Zone is working to change that. By joining up the system - bringing together local services, schools and families - and providing the personalised, early intervention support unique to each child, we are helping a generation of young people to build the skills and relationships they need to get on track socially, emotionally and academically.
