A team of engineers from SKY are raising awareness for men’s mental health supporting Andy’s Man Club which are a suicide prevention charity, offering free to attend peer to peer support groups across the UK. We will be doing a charity walk around Farmoor Reservoir completing a 13km walk where we will be able to connect & support our own mental health has well as learning about this amazing charity supporting men’s mental health with the help of one of their facilitators & how we can raise awareness.
Also on Friday 24th July Chris Carter will be taking part in a 48hr Challenge to drive his MX5 sports car from Oxford to John O’Groats then down to Lands End & back to Oxford within 48hrs with a couple of other MX5 drivers.

Starting at 6:00 PM, myself & 2 other mx5 car enthusiasts are starting our relentless, non-stop 48-hour endurance lap of the UK from Preston Bishop Garden Centre during their Auto Culture night The route is unforgiving: Start: Buckinghamshire Leg 1: Straight up to John O'Groats Leg 2: Down through the twisty mountain and coastal roads of Wales Leg 3: A sprint to Land’s End Finish: Back to Preston Bishop by Sunday, July 26th at 6:00 PM—or earlier! We are running a tight 3-car convoy, sharing the wheel, and swapping drivers/co-drivers during fuel stops to beat the 48-hour clock to support three amazing charities: Special Effect: specialeffect.org.uk (puting fun, inclusion, and confidence back into the lives of people with severe physical disabilities) ANDYSMANCLUB https://andysmanclub.co.uk(peer-to-peer men's mental health & suicide prevention) Blood Cancer UK bloodcancer.org.uk (funding life-saving research) We would love to have a few local members cheer us off.
