In 2019 I was due to lead a project team to Rwanda but unfortunately had to cancel due to an injury. Then there was that pesky pandemic but now in 2023 I am once again privileged to be leading a group of volunteers to experience all that a CWB offers.

So for those who don't know what a CWB trip is all about in two weeks we will visit two main areas of the country working with our in country ambassadors to deliver a variety of cricket based activities coupled with, and this is the genius bit, strong social and health messaging around gender equality, community, HIV awareness and sexual health.

Our Ambassadors are working in Rwanda all year round visiting schools, running tournaments and exploring new areas to work in. Rwanda has had international success for its women's team and three of the under 19 team first picked up a cricket bat on a CWB trip.

I am not fundraising to cover the cost of the trip but I want to raise enough to cover the cost of another Ambassador for a year. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Remember "Talent is equally distributed, opportunity is not" I'm hoping to give new opportunity
