Zebra 3 Peaks Climb · 26 July 2025

Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

PERSONAL POST: We found out a year ago to the day that my incredible dad and role model, had been diagnosed with prostate cancer. We later found out the severity, which has been an upsetting and emotional journey for him personally and us as a family.

Throughout this period, he has remained as positive as ever and has really shown us that you can embrace your diagnosis and make the most of what life throws at you. He's even bought himself a soft top and a flat cap for goodness sake!

Given the chemo & radio treatments he has had to endure to date, I wanted to show my support by joining a team of determined colleagues from Zebra to take on the 3 peaks challenge, this July. The challenge will see us attempt to climb the three highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 'one go'.

We are aiming to raise as much money as we can for this terrible disease affecting too many family & friends we know and love. Any donation you can make would be truly appreciated!!

The Zebra team includes; Jason Harvey, Andrew Wood, Mark Thomson, Jan Naessens, James Bartlett, Emily Mitchell, Hayley Perry-Nichols, Laura Loveland, David Lancefield, Andy Ruethemann, Rudi Barella, Gary Hooper, Sarah Hyde, Jess Greenwood, Yasir Sekeroglu, Frankie Davis, Andriy Pinkevych, Matthew Rance, Margaret Reynolds, Chris Guest, Chris Foice, Gary Bird, Louise Scott, Simon Wallis, Karen Wallis, Marian Sramko, Tim Stoddard, Hozefa Saylawala, Mark Jolley.
