Story
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
As some of you may be aware, I suffered a Transient Ischemic Stroke (Mini Stroke) in August 2022. It left me struggling to speak and with a million questions about the future. Fortunately, I had amazing help from the people at the Stroke Association and after fundraising for them by running the London Marathon in 2023, I’m back! This time I’m tackling the Ibiza Marathon on the 18th April 2026. Please give whatever you can afford so that the charity can continue helping others, like myself who’ve struggled with a stroke.
Vamos!
