Third time for me and weirdly I think I’m actually looking forward to it this time!

The first 1000 miles for Dentaid were all about survival and completing the course for me. This time I’m feeling more confident and this 500 miler gives me a chance to really prepare well and hopefully ride a little quicker!

In 2026, Straumann Group is proud to be taking on its 7th charity bike ride, bringing together 60 riders made up of Straumann staff and valued customers for an unforgettable challenge cycling 500 miles in 5 days.

The ride will begin at Straumann Group's global head office in Basel, before heading out on a spectacular route through some of Europe's most iconic landscapes. Riders will cycle through the picturesque Vosges National Park, the Alsace Wine Region and the legendary Black Forest.

The ride marks the third time Straumann Group has supported Dentaid through this charity cycling event.

Funds raise from this year's ride will support Dentaid's work across the UK, with a particular focus on providing dental care for vulnerable women and families affected by violence and abuse. Access to dental care can be life-changing, restoring not only oral health but dignity, confidence and well being.

Each rider has committed to raising £1500 to support Dentaid's essential and compassionate work. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference and help Dentaid reach those who need care the most.
