In February this year, I received an email from Jon Folkes at Carter Lauren Construction. Would I like to join a 4-day, 320-mile cycle ride to help them raise funds for the Cardiff City Hospice?

I didn't need to think about this too hard, before responding with a resounding YES!

I've subsequently learned a great deal about the City Hospice, and the fantastic work they do caring for patients across Cardiff, managing their symptoms and offering essential support. This means each person in their care can live their lives to the fullest for as long as possible.

The charity needs to raise more than £3.2 million each year to fund its services, and over the last six or seven years, Carter Lauren Construction have raised over £130,000 by undertaking events such as this. In 2026, I'd like to help them push that figure over the £200k mark, and to do so we'll need your help.

Please dig deep and help this amazing cause by sponsoring me to ride the 320 miles between Cardiff and Paris this September, and I'll be thinking of your kindness and the wonderful work the Hospice does to get me through each & every one of those miles.
