Hello everyone!

Chris and I are running the Hertfordshire Half Marathon on November 2nd to raise money for the amazing work at Route61 in Kenya.

We'll be training over the next 8 weeks and we’re aiming to raise £2,000, so keep up to date and share! 🏃🏻🏃🏻‍♀️

Since 2016, Route61 has supported the work of the Directorate of Children’s Services by equipping and sending a team of Kenyan mentors and social workers to help disadvantaged children in the juvenile justice system.The team currently provides activities and support to 11 statutory children’s institutions (SCIs) in Nairobi and Western Kenya.

We had the privilege of spending time with the Route 61 team in Kenya this year and for Chris, his first time in Kenya, ran an awesome football tournament for the boys. We heard testimonies of hearts changed from the love the team bring to the children in these institutions, and we'd love to see Route 61 reach further across Kenya.
