Our champions are taking part in the 2026 TCS London Marathon for Sarcoma UK. The money raised will support bone and soft tissue cancer patients and their loved ones.

Story

On the 26th April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon in memory of my brother in law and our hero, Henry.

In 2021, at the age of 32, Henry was diagnosed with leiomyosarcoma, a rare soft tissue cancer. After surgery and radiotherapy, he was monitored until 2023, when the cancer unfortunately returned and had spread. Henry then went through rounds of various intense chemotherapy treatments but unfortunately these were unsuccessful.

Sadly, Henry lost his heroic battle in February 2025; his beautiful twins, Eadie and Albie were born the following month.

The admiration for Henry will stay with me and his amazing friends and family forever. In the words of his wife Lucy, “Henry never lost his battle with cancer, because he never stopped fighting”.

Henry will be my inspiration to give it all I’ve got and push through every mile last mile of the marathon.

I will be running in aid of Sarcoma UK and all funds raised with go directly to this incredible charity; helping families just like Henry’s. Every day in the UK 16 people are given a Sarcoma diagnosis. Hopefully, your support will allow someone to keep their loved one for that bit longer. Please donate if you can and keep an eye out for fundraising events that we will be organising.

Thank you so much!
