Thanks for visiting my page. Some of you may remember that during lockdown in 2020 I raised nearly £8,000 for our chosen corporate charity partner by rowing the equivalent distance from Cardiff to London in 5 days. This time I am taking part in the National 3 Peaks 24 - Hour Challenge with 27 colleagues from Odgers Berndtson where we will attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours including driving time. I think I am correct in saying I am by far the oldest in the team so will need your support and encouragement to keep up with the youngsters. We will be raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives including my dad when he was only 58, I'm 58 next birthday so it's a poignant time to be attempting this challenge. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
