Story

A little over six months ago, I took up singing lessons in order to develop more confidence - mainly to help with the people-facing aspect of my work.

Life has a funny way of throwing you a curveball and I had no idea that singing would actually become a form of therapy for me.

As well as suffering with mental health issues myself, many of the people closest to me have battled, and are still battling, the demons that conspire to keep us from living life to the fullest. Some have called upon mental health charities to help them through, and without those services I have no idea where they would be now.

With that in mind, I am joining with nearly 1000 other musicians and singers to play Linkin Park songs as part of 1000 Lights at the Utilita arena on Sunday, 18th August 2024.

If you can spare anything at all to help people in need of support and guidance with their mental health, it will be massively appreciated.

100% of everything raised and donated will be used to help provide free mental health counselling and services.

As an extra incentive to those of us taking part in this fantastic event, whoever raises the most money for their instrument will be on stage on the day joining professional musicians from bands including Bullet For My Valentine, Mallory Knox and Funeral For A Friend!
