Story
I’m lacing up my running shoes for a cause that’s deeply close to mine and my family’s hearts. I’m running the London Marathon, my first, on 27th April 2025 in memory of my Auntie Alison, who lost her cancer battle a week before Christmas 2023, aged just 52. She’s missed every day by her loved ones and our family Christmas will never be quite the same again. I’m so proud to be running in her memory.
I’m raising funds for Lymphoma Action, the UK's only charity dedicated to lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer. Its mission is to make sure no one faces lymphoma alone.
How You Can Help:
By donating to my Just Giving Lymphoma Action link below. So with every mile I run and with each pound you give, they can continue to Inform, Support and Connect patients and their families navigating this tough journey - people who are feeling scared, isolated and overwhelmed.
No amount is too small and every donation will mean the world to me, my family and everyone whose lives are touched by this dreadful disease.
As I prepare, if anyone fancies a run in South London, give me a shout and please do share this post far and wide.
Thank you so much for your support and apologies in advance, for this becoming my personality until next April.
Chris
