Having been incredibly fortunate to gain a ballot place in this year's London Marathon, I can't let the opportunity pass to raise some money for a charity close to me. The MND Association.

Having seen first hand how horrific this disease is and how it not only affects the individual but also their family and friends, this disease must be cured.

I'm not a long distance runner and know it's going to be painful, but not a patch on the pain caused by this disease.
