Story
With 6 months of training ahead, this October I'll be embarking on a trek to the summit of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco in aid of St.Catherine’s Hospice in Preston.
The 14,700ft journey, hiking & climbing up Mount Toubkal & back, will take 4 days...so long as altitude sickness doesn't feature!
The Hospice does an amazing job of providing specialist care for individuals and their families by treating patients with end-of-life illnesses. Their work can only be achieved with the support of donations with costs of almost £8m pa of which the NHS covers less than half the amount.
I'm hoping your financial support will help St.Catherine's cover the shortfall in order to continue to provide their exemplary work by caring for those who desperately need it. Both my Father in Law (John) and Uncle (Granville) received great care at the latter stages of their life.
Together, we can make every step count.
