Story
Hello everyone, in April I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise much-needed funds for the wonderful Katharine House Hospice.
Katharine House Hospice was where my Grandma, Edna, spent the last few weeks of her life last year. Whilst she was there, she was given the most incredible, compassionate care by all of the amazing staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The hospice made my Grandma’s last few weeks as comfortable as they could have been. For that, my family and I are so hugely thankful.
However, for Katharine House Hospice to keep providing this important care to over 1,200 people each year, it costs £14,500 every day. As well as in-hospice medical care, these costs also go towards other important services such as bereavement counselling, home visits by community nurses, and activities for terminally-ill people living in the wider community. Donations are an essential part of the funding that keeps the hospice operating, so please consider making a contribution.
I’m aiming to raise at least £2,000 for Katharine House Hospice. Anything you can contribute, no matter the size, will be greatly appreciated. Your contribution will help ensure that Katharine House Hospice can continue to offer essential care to those who need it most, and will make a lasting impact on the lives of families going through difficult times.
Thank you for your support!
Chris ❤️
