Story
In 2023, our dad, Steve, was diagnosed with prostate cancer after requesting a routine health check. The news was tough, but he faced it with incredible strength and determination. Throughout his recovery, he became passionate about raising awareness, encouraging men—especially those middle-aged and older—to get checked early. Thanks to early detection, he made a full recovery and was looking forward to his well-earned retirement.
Tragically, in December 2024, we lost Dad unexpectedly to a heart attack. To honor his memory, we—Chris and Matt—are raising money for Prostate Cancer UK, a cause Dad cared about deeply. Matt will be taking on the challenge of climbing to the summit of Mount Snowdon in August, while Chris will be running two half marathons: the Madrid Half Marathon in April and the Great North Run in September.
Every donation, big or small, will help fund vital research and support men affected by prostate cancer. If you’d like to support us and keep Dad’s mission alive, please consider donating. Thank you all!
