Newcastle City Juniors Pumas fundraiser for Teenage Cancer Trust

NCJ Pumas is raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust

Team: Value Match Team fundraising for Teenage Cancer Trust

In memory of Lindsay Rosul

CLARTY BAIRNS OBSTACLE COURSE · 18 July 2026

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

We are Newcastle City Juniors Pumas, an all girls football team in the North East. Lindsays daughter Keavy Beau plays on our team and therefore we had the pleasure of calling Lindsay one of our football family.

Lindsay was a huge supporter of our girls and did a lot for grassroots football on a wider scale. She was an avid fundraiser for teams. She sat on committees at Northumberland FA and was a coordinator in the North east for the charity Kit Aid, helping to repurpose used sportswear to help people all over the world who were less fortunate.

We have saw 1st hand how Lindsay didn't let her own battle define her or let it stop her from supporting the girls right until the end and that has been inspiring to see. With that in mind we wanted to show our support for Lindsay and approached her family about doing a fundraiser in her honour

So the girls and parents will be getting together in July to take part in Clarty Bairns which is a 3km obstacle course coupled with mud basically!! Wish us luck!

All support wether through donations or just raising awareness is appreciated
