In April I will be running the Brighton Marathon in aid of The Twinkling Stars Suite at the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. The Suite provides dedicated and specialist services to families experiencing pregnancy loss. This is a particularly important charity to me as they supported both my partner and I before, during and after the loss of our daughter Isabella in 2017. The charity itself was founded a year later in order to support families going through one of the most difficult periods in their lives.

The charity works closely with the team at the Suite to ensure that they can offer the best possible environment for families accessing their services, and have recently funded items such as furnishings to provide a less ‘clinical’ feel to the space, and specialist memory and keepsake packages for families to keep as they navigate their loss.
