One in three children in Ealing live in poverty. Since 1996 Home-start Ealing has supported vulnerable Ealing families who have at least one child aged under five. They provide practical and emotional support to parents through volunteers including weekly home visiting service, group sessions, and day trips to local parks and family attractions. Most importantly delivering advocacy for families to give them a voice and support them access health, housing and education services for their children.

Most of their funding comes from charitable trusts and donations with tiny grants from statutory services. Every year the demand for their services increase but the challenge to fundraise to continue their vital services becomes harder and harder.
