Story
Throughout 2023, and before my knees turn to dust, I have set myself a challenge to run a minimum of 666 miles (cos it’s gonna be hell) to raise money for Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK.
PHA UK is a charity that is close to my heart as many of you know my wonderful mother in law Joan sadly passed away from the condition back in 2018 with little warning which broke our hearts.
Not many people know much about Pulmonary Hypertension. There is currently no cure for the condition and the shortness of breath, chest pain and tiredness make completing everyday tasks difficult. The PHA UK receives no government funding, so every penny donated plays a vital role in helping them support people to live better lives with PH.
This may not seem like much of a challenge to some but for me, in my 40s and currently weighing in at 17 stone, this is huge!
Anything you can donate (especially in the current environment) is greatly appreciated by me, my family and PHA UK.
Thank you
Chris
