Eileen died on 1 March 2014.

For the first 5 years after her death I completed the Marie Curie Coast to Coast bike Challenge from Grange over Sands to Scarborough. I never really thought I would do it again. 5 years older and here I go again. 6 friends are kind enough to join me on this venture and help raise an amazing sum for Marie Curie. We are paying all our own expenses and so every penny you donate goes to the charity.

Marie Curie nurses helped Eileen so much with expert night time care. I have been supporting them ever since and am a volunteer with the Harrogate Fund raising group. They support anyone with a terminal illness by providing care in their own home.
