On Friday 20th June, Search Recruitment Group will undertake a 5K walk or run companywide to raise our biggest amount yet for Dementia UK. To enter, we have asked our colleagues to pledge £50 each as we work to our end goal of raising £12,500.

Having injured my back last November, I have had to recover and train from couch to 5k - so this will be my first 5k in 8 months!

To make it more challenging, I will be doing 2 x 5kms on consecutive days - 1 with my Birmingham office and 1 will my Liverpool office.

The 5ks also fall the week after the annual Great North Swim which I will be taking part in the 1 mile event @ Windermere.

I'm passionate about helping those in need and all donations regardless of size make a big difference.

From August 2024, Search Recruitment Group are supporting Dementia UK. Our partnership will help to raise awareness of the positive impact that being active can have on individuals and families affected by dementia.
