We’re a varied team of runners, all running the Cardiff Half Marathon 2025 to help raise money for Albert Primary School.

The primary cause of SOAP is to advance the education of pupils in the school by providing facilities and equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

This year's projects have included supporting expansion of in class well-being facilities, a new stage, refurbishment of the school IT suite and additional technology. We’ve funded a refurbishment of the playgrounds, including new adventure trail and growing facilities.

Inequity in school funding across Wales means that Schools in the Vale of Glamorgan receive hundreds of pounds a year less per pupil than Schools just across the border in Cardiff. The work of SOAP (the Albert Primary PTA) is vital not just in providing the added extras that bring joy to School, but in providing necessary equipment and facilities that allow the School to succeed for our children.
