Chris, Tom and Sarah are running the St Michael's Hospice Hereford Half Marathon!

"Hospice care is something incredibly close to our hearts. The care given to our Mum, Margaret, was second to none. Her last few days were made so peaceful by being at St Michael's Hospice. Not a day goes by when we don't think about her but the support and kindness the hospice staff gave us as a family helped us hugely during those last few days.

There's not many people we'd run a half marathon for, but we reckon Margaret North is one of them!"

The Hospice multi-disciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, complementary therapists, social workers, chaplains and counsellors. These specialist Hospice staff work together and often in partnership with the NHS to relieve patients’ symptoms, control their pain and help them to live well until the end of life. It is vital that everyone that needs it has the appropriate care and support they need to cope with the complex feelings and lifestyle changes caused by a terminal illness.
