At the age of 77, but reasonably fit, I am doing the abseil in honour of my niece, my sister in law and my brother in law who have all been treated recently at the fabulous Clatterbridge Centre, Liverpool. I have prostate cancer myself and I don't like heights, but when I see how well treated cancer patients are in this fabulous facility I think for once I can forget my fear of heights and I am optimistic my family and friends will show their support by donating.
