I've had lots of dealings with hospices and I've always found them inspirational places: warm, human and real! Nothing is too much for the staff; they are compassionate, but will be straight-talking if that's what you want; and they help you face the future with hope, and - quite likely- a smile. I read about this trek when I went into Dove House to visit a friend, and thought, "Yes! That's something I can do to help!"
