Story
In January this year, we lost our son who was stillborn.
We never imagined we would become parents for the first time in such an unthinkable and tragic way, but we are so thankful that he chose us.
In his memory, from the 18th-21st June I’ll be running the entire length of the South Downs Way - a trail running over 100 miles from Winchester to Eastbourne, with a total elevation gain of 4300m.
Four marathons in four days, with lots and lots of hills, finishing by the sea on the summer solstice - a day that symbolises the triumph of light over darkness.

All the money raised will go to the Kings Maternity Bereavement Fund - a dedicated fund to support families who have lost their baby at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
At a devastating time, the care Sophia and I received from the team at Kings was - and continues to be - incredible. They are all genuine angels.
Their kindness and respect for our baby and our loss helped turn something so traumatic into something precious and healing. A lot of the positive feelings we have are down to the people who were around us at that time.
I hope no one has to ever experience what we have, and whilst nothing can take away the intense pain, I know that any family who is going through it at Kings will be supported in the best possible way.
Thank you so much for all of your support xx
