Story

As a teenager, I struggled with my mental health, feeling isolated and overwhelmed without the support I needed. These unresolved issues followed me into adulthood, making it challenging to manage stress and maintain my visions and goals, often left with no sense of direction. Reflecting on how different my life could have been with early intervention, I became determined to help others avoid similar struggles.

The Julian Campbell Foundation’s mission to promote mental health and provide early intervention for teenagers and young adults resonated deeply with me. Their work in educational settings ensures young people get the support they need at a crucial stage in life, enabling them the understand and power through into the world of work and business with the tools and understanding they need.

To raise funds and awareness, I’m joining a group of electricians and business mentors from across the UK in a charity skydive for the Julian Campbell Foundation. This event symbolizes our collective effort to highlight the importance of mental health support for the youth.

By supporting the Foundation, we can help teenagers develop the resilience they need to thrive as adults. Every donation contributes to a brighter future, ensuring young people have the guidance and resources necessary to navigate their mental health challenges.

By donating to our parachute jumpers and skydivers, we'll have much needed funding to train more mentors to support young people in managing their moods.

Due to increasing demand for our services, especially since the pandemic, we must now train more mentors. Also, we can develop a centre which will support young people and their families through a potentially difficult time.

We would also like to promote mental health in a positive way within our communities by raising awareness. Also, we do drama workshops in schools to help prevent vulnerable young people from falling into mental distress. With your support we can continue to provide this much needed support to make a difference to our children and young people's lives.
