Story
On Sunday 8th October 2023 I will be taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a 20KM (13.1 miles) running route which will see me take in the sights of four beautiful parks - Hyde Park, Green Park, St James's Park and Kensington Gardens as well as iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park Corner and The Royal Albert Hall. I will be looking to compete this in sub 1hr 40mins.
I will be running this and raising money for our company chosen charity partner, Shelter.
In London, one in 53 people are now homeless in the capital. Outside of London, Luton is the area with the highest rate of homelessness with one in 66 people homeless.
Shelter provides urgent support for homeless people, whether that be people who have been spent many winters living on the streets or with the current housing crisis & rising cost of living it could be someone in danger of spending their first winter on the streets.
