Dear Friends

Crudwell 'Le Mans' 24 Hour bike ride is a community fundraising event where teams of all ages and ability compete to raise the most sponsorship. It is also fun to see which team can complete the most laps in 24hrs.

As well as raising funds for improvements to Crudwell village hall and its surrounds, this year 80% of funds raised by each team go to the charity of their choice, in our case CLIC Sargent Cancer Care for Children (https://www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk/).

This charity is particularly special to us, as it is providing fantastic support to some very close friends who's teenage daughter is currently undergoing treatment following a bone marrow transplant. The accommodation being provided by CLIC Sargent is allowing them (and other families in similar situations) to be right next door 24hrs a day, and also provides a quiet and comfortable environment to recharge. We cannot imagine how much harder it would be without this fine facility, so please consider supporting this great charity.
