Chris's Skydive for Stroke Association

Chris Barton is raising money for Stroke Association
In memory of Grandad David

Skydive · 5 September 2026

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I am taking on a 15,000ft skydive to raise money for the Stroke Association, a cause that is very close to me and my family.

My grandad, who has sadly passed away, suffered multiple strokes during his life. Although his passing wasn’t as a result of a stroke, seeing the impact they had on him and those around him has made this a cause that means a great deal to us.

So, I have decided to do something well outside my comfort zone and jump out of a plane at 15,000 feet to raise as much as I can for the Stroke Association and support the incredible work they do for stroke survivors and their families.

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean a lot. Thank you so much for your support! ❤️
