I am a 44 year old customer service centre supervisor and recently a member of my team received some horrific news. They were diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer.

I would like to say how much this person truly astonishes me and has inspired me to learn more and take on a very small challenge compared to what she is facing.

The challenge:

I am attempting to walk both The Great Glen Way and The East Highland Way back to back over 8 days starting on the 20th May 2023.

I will be walking the 160+ miles solo, carrying all of the gear I need to complete this challenge.

The aim:

My hope is to raise awareness as far too many women are diagnosed too late! I also hope to raise £1000 for Target Ovarian Cancer, which they can use towards research, raising awareness and supporting those affected.
