Story
Chrisi and Amy will be taking on the 10K at Mount Ephraim Gardens. Although a 10K isn't a marathon, it will be the furthest distance Chrisi has ever run, and Amy is taking on the challenge just six months after giving birth. To make things even tougher, the course is rated 8/10 for difficulty due to its many hills, making it a daunting but exciting challenge for them both. When Shiloh heard they were raising money for charity, he wanted to get involved too and he will be running the junior rase on the day.
They are running to raise money for Orchards - a small charity with a big mission to help see women free from sexual exploitation. Orchards support women who are not selling sex out of ‘choice’ but whose stories involve abuse, coercion, poverty, violence and homelessness. Their work helps these women into safe houses where they receive counselling and support and start to live a new (independent) life. You can find out more here: https://www.orchardsuk.org/
