Blood Cancer UK 24 hour Cycle fundraiser

Christopher King is raising money for Blood Cancer UK

400 mile, 24 hour cycle round Richmond Park · 15 September 2025

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Blood cancer has significantly affected my family. Without all the incredible research and treatments I would've lost my Mum and Grandad.

Now that I'm old enough, I want to give back, through the only way I know how, cycling. I started my road cycling journey 4 years ago when my mum invited me on a ride whilst training for a charity triathlon for Blood cancer UK. 24 hours is more than double the longest time I've ever ridden and the aim of 400 miles is 3 times further. I will be cycling around 55 laps of Richmond Park through the night and day, only stopping briefly for essentials. I'm hoping to increase awareness for the disease and donate as much as possible to Blood cancer UK to support their research.

I'll be posting a tracking link closer to the time.
