Chris's London Landmarks Run for Human Rights

Chris Martin is raising money for Amnesty International UK

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 ·

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and the City of Westminster. Join Team Amnesty as we stand up for humanity and human rights across the globe.

Story

In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise awareness and support for Amnesty International. The organisation was founded in London more than sixty years ago with a simple idea at its core:

Every person deserves dignity, equality, and the protection of their basic rights.

They campaign for freedom of speech and the press, defend people imprisoned for speaking out, and push to end torture and the death penalty. Their teams also does the important work documenting abuses and advocating for civilians in conflict regions, including places like Gaza, where independent human rights work is especially urgent.

Across the world, they stand up for those whose voices are restricted, silenced, or at risk. If any of this resonates with you, please consider donating. Your support helps protect the rights and freedoms that every person should be able to enjoy.

Below are some headlines and excerpts from their work:

Israel: What happened to human rights for Palestinians?

Israel: must immediately halt legislation of discriminatory death penalty bill

Europe: Existing barriers to abortion access compounded by alarming attempts to roll back reproductive rights

USA: Deployment of National Guard to Los Angeles in Response to ICE Raids Is Dangerous
