Story
At the end of July, Julian and I will be taking on the T100 London Triathlon in support of the Kerslake Robshaw Foundation.
Having first met on the dance floor during Strictly Come Dancing, we've swapped sequins for swim caps and are now taking on a very different challenge together.
Sport has played a huge role in both of our lives. It teaches resilience, confidence, teamwork and belief in yourself. Through the Foundation, we're helping more young people access those same benefits through sport and music.
The Kerslake Robshaw Foundation was founded to support young people facing barriers to opportunity. We believe that sport and music can be powerful tools for improving wellbeing, building confidence, creating a sense of belonging and creating opportunities for young people to thrive.
Since launching in 2022, the Foundation has awarded almost £300,000 in grants to projects across the UK, supporting more than 3,000 young people through music and sport programmes. From community football and basketball clubs to youth choirs, theatre projects and music programmes, we're helping young people access opportunities that can have a lasting impact on their lives.
The T100 will certainly be a challenge, but it feels fitting to take it on for a cause that is helping young people build brighter futures through the activities they love.
If you're able to support us, we'd be hugely grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, will help the Foundation continue funding incredible organisations that are changing lives through the power of sport and music.
Thank you for your support.
Chris & Julian
