Chris Taylor is a Wakefield Trinity season ticket holder and is walking alone 52 miles from his home in Bolton to Belle Vue to raise money for the Wakefield Community Foundation Trust. · 9 August 2024

The Foundation is the cornerstone of the community in Wakefield and we have reached over 25,000 people since the turn of the year. Throughout the Trust, we have four main departments, NCS, Education, Rugby League and Health, Wellbeing & Inclusion, which provide support for those in the district.

Chris wants to try and help provide local people with opportunities to access rugby league and the physical health and mental health benefits that come with that. Chris has a heart condition, ARVC, and is fitted with a defibrillator so must control his heart rate which adds to the challenge.
